Чемпион одного из первенств мира в разделе этюдов в составе сборной СССР, участник командного первенства мира по решению и 41-го Конгресса по композиции в 1998 году. Чемпион Беларуси в личных первенствах по составлению и решению. С успехом выступал в командных соревнованиях и товарищеских матчах в разделе этюдов за Брестскую область
