Образование высшее – РТФ МЭИ (Радиотехнический факультет Московского Энергетического института).
В трудовой период старший научный сотрудник. Сфера деятельности – разработка и выпуск специальной техники.
В активе: грамота министра обороны СССР, две серебряные и бронзовая медали ВДНХ, 10 авторских свидетельств СССР на изобретения, свыше 50 научных трудов. Ветеран военной разведки.
Кандидат в мастера по шахматам. Победитель Кубка г. Москвы 1987 г. в составе сборной команды Перовского района. В составе сборных команд Генштаба, Главного управления Генштаба и других многократный победитель в различных армейских соревнованиях.
Кандидат в мастера по шахматной композиции. Чемпион Москвы 2006 г. по шахматной композиции в разделе этюдов. Опубликовал 39 этюдов, половина из которых отмечена, и около 70 задач. АФ - 1.67.
Постоянный участник, победитель и призёр Всероссийских соревнований по заочному решению шахматных композиций.
