Лев Николаевич Тамков (1937 – 1997) Беларусь.

По специальности был архитектором, жил в г. Гомеле. Главный архитектор Гомельской области, Заслуженный архитектор БССР, автор оригинальных проектов зданий и сооружений, награждён правительственными наградами. Призёр 11-го и 14-го командных первенств СССР и 2-го, 3-го, 6-го личных первенств Беларуси в разделе этюдов. С 1971 года опубликовал 60 этюдов и 200 задач разных жанров, на конкурсах отмечены более 60 произведений.

He was an architect by profession, he lived in Gomel. The chief architect of the Gomel region, the Honored Architect of the BSSR, the author of original projects of buildings and structures, was awarded with government awards. Prizewinner of the 11th and 14th USSR team championships and the 2nd, 3rd, 6th individual Belarusian championships in the section of etudes. Since 1971 he has published 60 etudes and 200 problems of different genres, more than 60 works have been recorded at competitions.
