First of all, I should express my thanks to SuperProblem for giving me the opportunity to propose and to judge this tourney with a theme which I have kept in my mind for some years. I am very satisfied with the response of composers, especially knowing that KöKo condition is so rarely used. Everybody who has tried has soon realized how difficult is it to compose a changed play in an environment with so limited movement of pieces.
I received 22 originals on anonymous forms, one of them (no. 1) in two versions. Thanks and congratulations to all contributors. The quality of received entries corresponds to my expectations. As I failed to find any examples of the theme in problem databases and other sources, I was not concerned with the originality of entries. Also, none of problems needed to be excluded because of being unsound or non-thematic.
There is a number of compositions where authors demonstrated rich imagination and technical skills, exceeding the required minimal content. However, I wonder how many authors build their schemes based on zugzwang (maybe influenced by one of theme examples). Precisely, 13 of them have zugzwang in at least one phase and eight ones in the solution. Nonetheless, some of them are good enough to receive a distinction.

1...Kxe4! 2.Qg2# (2.Qh1#??)
1...Se3 2.Rxe3#
Very nice problem with plenty of KöKo effects and a great unity of motivations. The reciprocal change of mates is based entirely on KöKo effects including the unusual unpin of two white thematic units by black allowing the whole scheme to work. Clear concept, spectacular play and good construction clearly justify the 1st prize

2nd Prize, 2nd Place - No 15, Solaiappan Manikumar (India) 8/8/8/8/8/4k3/5R2/1BKQ3n

1.Rd2! – 2.Qe1#, 1...Sf2 2.Qe2#

1.Kc2? zz 1...Sg3 2.Qd2#, 1...Sxf2!
Another brilliant work. I have intimately predicted some entries of such exceptional level, but this is a great surprise. I believe this is the le Grand example with lowest number of units ever. And like with the 1st prize, here all thematic effects are based on the KöKo condition.

3rd Prize, 3rd Place - No 20, Solaiappan Manikumar & Balasubramanian S. K. (India) 1B6/4p1P1/1p6/8/3Q2P1/4KBp1/1P2p3/7k

1.Qd8? zz 1...Kh2 2.Qh8#, 1...g2!
1.Kxe2? – 2.Qg1#, 1...g2 2.Qd1#, 1...Kh2!
1.Qd3! zz 1...Kh2 2.Qh7#, 1...g2 2.Qb1#
Four changed mates on two defenses - this is always a great achievement, especially when made with so reduced means. Among all entries with zugzwang this is the best one. It is a pity that the change mechanism is almost entirely orthodox, but the high unity between phases compensates abundantly this lack.

The only problem showing Dombrovskis theme in a very light setting. The ingenious usage of KöKo effects is very satisfying, but the whole impression is taken down by the zugzwang format and by the connected fact that all solution mates are set.

Amazing problem featuring five sequential defences by black rook with deep KöKo effects, but its valuation is seriously worsened by two unprovided flights and the flight taking key.
