I received 16 problems from the tourney director in the anonymous form. The quality of the entries was average considering the complexity of the theme and limited time.
In three problems (No 3, No 5 and No 6) I offered the authors a new version.
Problem No 11, 12, 14 are excellent. Well, they are very bad motivating. Therefore, they only have special awards. It was better to send them to another tournament.
I congratulate the authors for their interesting contributions.

I excluded following problems:
- No 1 (Ka1-Kc4) – non-thematic: 3x1 but at least 2 variations with different motifs in each phase are required. In addition, 3x motivational duals.
- No 10 (Kc8-Kc6) – non-thematic: repeated defensive motifs and weakening effects;
- No 13 (Kh1-Kd5) – excellent and top problem, but the motives are completely wrong. Motivational dual after defense 1...Rxf5 completely destroys the problem. The shown change of the two weakening effects does not exist. There is only a change of a pair of the same weakening effect and this is non-thematic;
- No 16 (Kf7-Kf5) – the problem is little to appreciate, moreover motive dual in solution in 1…Qxb4 (direct guard of the threat square).

Definitely the best problem of the tournament. Great design in the zero-position. Three phases with change of two weakening effects and two mates according to Zagoruiko. (Position c also have a try 1.Qh1? – 2.Sd7#, 1...Rxf6 2.Qe4#, 1...exd5 2.Qxd5#, 1...Rf3!).

A very economical prototype combining three basic themes. Change of two weakening effects, defensive motifs and mates. Nice!

Battery play + magnet. In comparison with yacpdb/536527: two phases are replaced with a change of one more mate and 7th WCCT is added in the solution (author.) ]

Excellent problem, but motivationally unsuitable for this tournament. The overall motivation of aA-aBbC-cD-aEbFcG is non-thematic. Only aBbC-aEbF can be recognized. This is only a change of two weakening effect with a change of two mates. Therefore, only a special prize.

Nice Zagoruiko, but motivating with mistakes. Already set play 1...e4 has a small motivational dual unguard. Pawn e5 covers matte square d4. It's funny to mention opening the diagonal and opening the horizontal. This is the same weakening effect!
